Mount Storm Lake — also known as New Stony River Reservoir — is a 1,200 acre (4.9 km²) reservoir created in 1965 on the Stony River in Grant County, West Virginia.

Fishing Description: 

Mount Storm supports largemouth and smallmouth bass as well as numerous channel catfish. Hybid striped bass and walleye are also present.

Fishing Cover / Structure: 

The reservoir's water is extremely clear.

Camping: 

No camping allowed

Boat Ramp: 

There is a public boat ramp at the north end of the lake just off Highway 93. Unlimited horse power, lake contains no wake, speed zones, and/or other restricted areas

Notes: 

Does not receive Fall trout stocking.

Live minnows may be used as bait

Night fishing is allowed

National Forest Stamp is not required

Directions to Lake: 

The lake is accessible from US Rt 50 to WV 42 to WV 93.
