Forty-two boats fished the Breast Cancer Awareness Tournament yesterday Oct 16th and The “BIG FISH” weighed in at 6lbs! Anglers and co-anglers could be seen from shore wearing pink t-shirts. Slogans like “fight like a girl” and “real men wear pink” were seen. The winner of the tournament came in with 5 fish totaling 16lbs. The tournament sponsors were generous and everyone who purchased a raffle ticket walked away with a prize. Denny Eubanks of Fishgillz auctioned off two pair of pink fishgillz sunglasses with proceeds going directly to charity. Fishgillz auction winners also took home a fishgillz hat and a ChumLine (a retainer that makes any pair of glasses float). Most of the fish were caught early in the morning.
