Lake Greenwood is a 11,400 acres lake in Greenwood County, South Carolina. The lake has 212 miles of shoreline, including the area occupied by Lake Greenwood State Recreation Area.
Fishing Description:
Lake Greenwood offers excellent fishing for bass, crappie, bream, perch, catfish, and striped bass.
Facilities and Parks:
The park has three boat ramps provide private boat acces to Lake Greenwood.
Directions to Lake:
From I-26: Take exit 74 to Hwy 34 towards Newberry. Stay on Hwy 34 for 25 mi. Turn rt. onto Hwy 702 for 2 mi.The park entrance is on the right.
From Greenwood: Take Hwy 72 for approximately 6 mi., turn right onto Hwy 246. Travel approximately 5 mi. and turn left onto Hwy 702, the park is located 7 mi. on the left.
