Fishing Report Lake Perry Mississippi - 2010-08-11 #9
The surface water temp is 92 degrees with 25 in. visibility. The fishing is still a little slow due to recent heat wave most anglers are still staying inside to avoid the hot weather! The bass bite has slowed but a few anglers report catching some bass from 1 to 2 lbs. using soft plastics fished slow near woody cover and the edges of lily pads in 4 to 8 ft. of water. Junebug and black seem to be good color choices. Some bream anglers report catching a few hand-sized fish in 3 to 6 ft. of water mainly using redworms from fishing piers. No new reports on crappie.
