The Nevada Trophy Fish Program lists a 12-pound, 10-ounce channel catfish being harvested from the lake. Best Time of year to Fish - the months of March and April are the best times to fish for crappie, walleye and channel catfish. Productive Fishing Methods - standard crankbaits fished along the shoreline at depths of 3 to 8 feet work well for the bass and sunfish. Standard deepwater baits fished over structure has been most productive offshore. Approved live bait (minnows) works best for crappie. Channel catfish can be caught on worms, liver, shrimp and minnows fished on the bottom.
