Rainbow fishing has been pretty good, especially on the south end of the reservoir. Trolling cranks or spoons 10 to 15 feet deep around Hole in the Wall has been working really well. Shore anglers are also picking up a few rainbows at Confederate and Duck Creek on worms with marshmallows. Walleye fishing has been fair, with variable results throughout the reservoir. Most action has been from trolling cranks or bottom bouncers with chartreuse or orange colored blades anywhere from 10-30 feet deep.

Walleye fishing has been fair with many people picking up smaller sized fish on bottom bouncers with chartreuse blades. Anglers are catching a few bigger walleyes off Avalanche early in the mornings. Most rainbow action has been off White Earth and Confederate trolling Rapalas 25-35 feet deep. Shore anglers are also catching a few rainbows at Magpie. Perch fishing has picked up some, with most action around Goose Bay and Confederate.
