Grenada Reservori (also Grenada Lake) is a 35,000-acre reservoir on the Yalobusha River in the U.S. state of Mississippi. It is one of four flood control lakes in North Mississippi constructed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Grenada Lake was constructed to help control flooding along the Yazoo River Basin. The dam is located on the Yalobusha River approximately 3 miles northeast of Grenada, Mississippi. The lake has approximately 48 mi (77 km) of shoreline.

Since its impoundment, Grenada Lake has attracted an ever-increasing number of visitors who enjoy water-based and other outdoor recreational activities and is host to several fishing tournaments annually as well. Grenada Lake is the home to two state parks, Carver's Point and Hugh White, with many campgrounds located around the lake. It also is home to the Dogwoods Golf Course which has been hailed as one of the best golf courses in the southeast, and possibly the entire United States.

Grenada Lake is best known as a haven for crappie fishermen, but is also well-stocked with bass, bream and catfish.

New Life Jacket Rules for MS Lakes
May 12 2009
The following new life jacket rules will be enforced at all four of the Vicksburg District North Mississippi Lakes - Arkabutla, Sardis, Enid, and Grenada.

* All persons must wear a US Coast Guard-approved life jacket at all times while swimming outside of designated swimming areas.
* All persons must wear a US Coast Guard-approved life jacket at all times while skiing or being pulled by a vessel, regardless of vessel length.
* All persons must wear a US Coast Guard-approved life jacket on powered vessels 16 to 26 feet in length whenever under power by the main propulsion unit.
* All persons must wear a US Coast Guard-approved life jacket at all times on powered vessels less than 16 feet in length or on non-powered vessels, regardless of length.

Directions to Lake:

3 miles Northeast of Grenada off Hwy 8.

Directions to Hhugh White State Park cabin area:
from interstate 55:
Take exit 206 onto highway 8 east.
Travel approximately 7 miles (do not turn at lakeway chevron station).
Turn left at sign that says: hugh White State Park cabin area/golf course.
The park office and cabin area are 3.5 miles from highway 8.

Directions to Hugh White State Park's outlet channel campground:
from interstate 55:
Take exit 206 onto highway 8 east.
Travel approximately 5 miles.
At the lakeway chevron station turn left onto scenic loop 333.
Scenic loop 333 will lead to the grenada dam. turn left at dam and travel to bottom of dam. the gatehouse and campground are located at the bottom of grenada dam.
