Pelican Lake is a 8,253 acre lake in Crow Wing County, located near Brainerd. It is one of three major fishing lakes named Pelican Lake in the state of Minnesota. The lake is highly developed with a large number of homes and cabins and a dozen resorts.

Fishing Description: 

Pelican Lake has excellent fishing for walleye, northern pike, largemouth bass, bluegill, and black crappie. Other species include tullibee, yellow perch, and rock bass.

Facilities and Parks: 

There are three concrete public boat ramps on the lake: on north side of small bay on the east side of Halverson Bay, west side of Jones Bay on southwest side of lake, and west side of Nelson Bay off County Road #11.
