Medicine Lake is a 886 acre lake located in the city of Plymouth, Minnesota. It is located less than 15 miles from downtown Minneapolis.

Fishing Description: 

Considered one of the twin cities metro's better all-around fisheries, Medicine Lake offers good fishing for pike, bass, bluegill, and black crappie. Additionally, Medicine Lake has been stocked with walleye every other year since 1999.

Facilities and Parks: 

Clifton French Regional Park borders the northwest portion of the lake and provides the only public access during the open water season. Harty's Boats & Bait (located on east side of lake) provides an alternative access during both open water and winter seasons. Although two Plymouth city parks provide year round access to lake, motorized boats cannot be launched at either park.
