Lake Maxinkuckee, covering 1,864 acres (8 km2), is the second largest natural lake in the U.S. state of Indiana . It is located near the town of Culver, Indiana, in southwestern Marshall County. Lake Maxinkuckee has a maximum depth of 88 feet (27 m) and an average depth of 24 feet (seven meters).

Fishing Description: 

Smallmouth bass, another popular sport fish, dominated the catch in the 2000 fish survey. Lake Maxinkuckee smallmouth bass growth rates continue to be above average compared to smallmouth bass in Indiana rivers.

Other fish include bluegill, crappie, and yellow perch.
