Diamond Lake is a 149 acre lake in the Village of Mundelein, just west of Chicago. The lake is stocked with both channel catfish and northern pike, making it an excellent place to fish for anyone in the metro area.

Fishing Description:

With the annual stocking of northern pike, good sized fish (over 21") are readily available. Diamond Lake has an abundance of shoreline vegetation in shallow water and deep thermal relief to harbor even larger fish. Northern pike are also the prime catch for ice fishing on the lake.

The channel catfish in Diamond Lake have matured since the initial stocking. The lake now has an abundance of quality sized catfish.

Recreational Activities:

There is a city run park on the lake that offers a swimming beach.
