backlashing a new reel.. advice?

How do you correct backlashes using a baitcasting reel for bass fishing?
Realizing that some backlashes are gonna occur regardless,I would like to know how to do away with the annoyance of most.
I've been using these reels for a few years but can't seem to overcome this problem and would very much appreciate any" tips "to help avoid this pesty problem as much as possible so the frustration level can be dealt with a bit better and to make my fishing time on the water a more enjoyable experience.
Thanks in advance for any comments or suggestions.

Checkout this YouTube flick

I saw this on you tube and really help me stop backlashing.
So here's the site- look at and see if can help you out :

Just copy this entire line: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AgRm2A8LGik

Then paste it on your internet Search bar then press enter - enjoy and watch the flick. There also more YouTube flicks on how to prevent backlashing.

I have to admit - it helped me out but you really need to PRATICE a lot - like I did went a big park - practice my casting. Hope this helps.

Oh' yes the old "bird-nest"

Oh' yes the old "bird-nest" ... practice makes perfect my dad used to always say. .

I've been usin' them fora while and the way I heard you can solve the problem was casting with one in the backyard. If you've been using them for quite awhile might suggest checkin' your casting dial (tighten up your free spool) and make necessary adjustments to it.

I need to practice, too!
