i need some tips for winter fishing
i fish in the summer but i don't really know what to use or how to use it in the winter. i fish for bass and catfish mostly but i know that the catfish all go to deeper water in the winter so i would like to fish for bass or any other fish that you think fishing for is fun. trust me, i'll give it a try! i live in Oklahoma if that matters. any tips would be great! thanks guys.
fish slower my buddy always says. spinnerbaits, deep diving crankbaits and jigs have always worked for him in the winter
also you can try to target catfish. try live, dead,or cut shad fished deep
hope this helps

It all depends on the water temperature. Like everybody else says wisely, slow down... the fish slow down in the winter too. If it's an exceptionally cold winter you might want to use live bait instead of artificials. For catfish, use a stink bait (you can find many recipes on Google). Good luck!
