Lake Yale is a 4,042-acre lake located northwest of the City of Eustis.

Fishing Tips, Tactics, How-To info:

Good numbers of crappie are being caught by anglers drifting or slow trolling the open waters of Yale with jigs and minnows. A good depth finder will help to find the schools and determine the depth they are holding at. A hotspot for crappies has been the FWC brush piles (fish attractors); three are found on the lake and each is marked with a large, yellow buoy at the center of each site. Anchor and use slip bobbers and minnows at the attractor sites.

Some largemouth bass are being caught on the grasslines on Texas rigged plastic worms.

Boat Ramp:

Access to the lake is from C.R. 452 in Marsh Park on the outskirts of Eustis and off C.R. 450 west of the City of Umatilla.

Other:

There are no fish camps on the lake, but you can get bait and supplies from Owens Marine on S.R. 19 in Eustis or from Umatilla Bait and Tackle on S.R. 19 just south of Umatilla.
