Highland Lake is one of the largest lakes in Connecticut, located in the town of Winchester. Highland Lake is a resort lake over three miles in length and 444 acres in area. It is enjoyed for its swimming, fishing, boating and water skiing.

Highland Lake is one of the best all-around bass and trout fishing lakes in the state. It is one of Connecticut's Trophy Trout Fishing Lakes.
