Batterson Park Pond is located in the city of New Britain, although it is owned by the city of Hartford. The pond is completely surrounded by the park and has no development on it.

Fishing Description: 

Because it is a city pond, most people are not aware of how good the bass fishing is. There is a large number of 14 - 19" bass and larger bass are found frequently. Take advantage of the boat launch to get some good bass fishing in the city.

Facilities and Parks: 

There is a boat launch at the Batterson Park. Take I-84, Exit 37, south onto Fienemann Road, left onto Alexander Road, launch on left.
