Bear Creek State Park contains three lakes; Big and Little Soda Lakes and Bear Creek Lake. Bear Creek Lake provides boating access under 10HP and shore fishing, and for us another opportunity to search for tiger muskie. The lake has become known for its productive bass and stocked trout populations.

Facilities and Parks:

Bear Creek Park offers almost 2,600 acres of land with 15 miles of dirt trails for both hiking and biking. There are 50 picnic tables and group picnic areas in the park for day use and also 50 camping sites. Even though you are close to the metro area, the park provides great seclusion for a weekend getaway.

Boating: HP Restricted. Boating is limited to 10HP engines.
Ice Fishing: Ice fishing allowed

Campgrounds: 50 sites available in total. 16 sites provide electric hookups. All sites are on a first come first serve basis. No water hookups or a dump station. Campground open April 1st - October 31st.

From C-470 take the Morrison Road exit. Go east on Morrison Road to the park entrance on the south side.
