Triton 600 Boat Cover Review

I was extremely excited to see the Triton 600 boat cover show up on my door step. Delivery was faster than stated. The cover fits like it was custom made for my boat. The material the cover is made of looks like it will hold up to the weather and protect my boat.

The night before its arrival, my boat cover ripped after a storm. I don't know about you, but this seems to be a yearly occurrence. I tend to be cheap by nature, so I do not spend a lot of money on boat covers but I am willing to spend a little more if it is going to last. After opening the box and seeing the Triton 600, my hopes were lifted.

I ordered blue because it matches my boat but of course it looks like every cover in my neighborhood. Even though it looks like every other boat cover, I noticed some differences right away. The first thing I noticed was that the front was marked. Thank you! I don't know how many times I have put a boat cover on only to be frustrated because I had put it on backwards. The next thing I noticed was that the buckles are covered. This is a nice feature to avoid those annoying rub marks. The buckles and straps are well made and should hold up nicely.

The fit of the Triton 600 is good. It covers the boat, trolling motor and outboard sufficiently without too much excess to catch the wind. The cover does a nice job during towing. For me, the true test is how the cover fabric is going to hold up. The fabric is lightweight but strong. It does a great job of shedding rain water and handling moderate winds. Soon it will be winter in Minnesota and we will see how it handles the cold, ice and snow.

There is a lot to like about the Triton 600: the covered buckles, the lightweight sturdy fabric and the nice fit. All in all, this is a nice boat cover for the price. I would recommend the Triton 600 boat cover anyone because it is easy to install, looks great and I received it in timely manner.
