Geneva County Lake is two lakes with a total of 65 acres. Geneva County Lake is located 15 miles northwest of the City of Geneva or 20 miles southwest of Enterprise in Coffee Springs, Alabama.
Lake is open Sunrise to Sunset as follows:
The lake is open 6 days a week; Closed on Thursday. Saturday night catfishing begins first weekend in April and ends last weekend in October.
But call the manager at (334) 684-9434 to verify the schedule before making the trip.
Bass fishing good year-round, with the biggest usually caught from January through April when they are near the bank. Bluegill and redear sunfish are caught by bank and boat anglers from early spring through summer. Catfish are caught year-round, but the summer months are best. Crappie fishing is best in January - February and April.
Clean public restrooms and concessions are available, including a wide variety of fishing tackle, live and artificial baits, and other fishing supplies, as well as drinks and refreshments. An accessible fishing pier makes it easy to reach deeper water without using a boat. Boats for rent; a launching ramp is available for anglers with their own boats. Boats may have an outboard motor attached, but anglers may not use the outboard motor, only the trolling motor. We also carry bows and crossbows, hunting supplies and we have a pro shop to string bows and crossbows, alignment, and other work to be performed on bows and crossbows.
From the City of Geneva, take Highway 27 north for approximately 9 miles; turn left (west) on County Road 40 and go straight for approximately 4.5 miles (County Road 40 turns to the left but County Road 64 goes straight through Coffee Springs to Geneva County Lake Road). Geneva County Lake Road (County Road 63) will be on the left.
From Enterprise, From Alabama Highway 27 south for approximately 15 miles, then right on County Road 40 through Coffee Springs for 4.5 miles. County Road 40 turns into County Road 64. Geneva Lake will be on the left.
